TOXICOLOGY PATHOLOGISTS

Following the consolidation of the contract research group business for SafePharm Laboratories, UK and RCC, Switzerland, we are expanding our pathology services to support a growing requirement for this area of expertise.

We wish to recruit suitably qualified individuals to work at our facilities in Shardlow, near Derby, UK. Two positions are envisaged.

SENIOR TOXICOLOGY PATHOLOGIST

We are seeking to employ an experienced Pathologist to undertake the evaluation of histopathological specimens from a range of Toxicology studies that have been undertaken at one of our sites in Europe. The successful applicant will be encouraged to provide some expertise into both Clinical Pathology and gross post mortem evaluations.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified veterinary pathologist (DVM, MRCVS). Highly desirable would be a pathologist with an appropriate Board Certification (ACVP or ECVP). As important is experience working a a Pathologist within a GLP compliant environment, particularly for a CRO.

TOXICOLOGY PATHOLOGIST(S)

These positions would suit individuals who are qualified in Veterinary Science (DVM, MRCVS) with a desire to work as a veterinary pathologist within a laboratory environment. The position provides an opportunity to develop an expertise within the field of laboratory animal pathology. The position provides an opportunity to develop a specialism in aspects of pathology such as clinical pathology and histopathology.

The successful candidate(s) will be able to develop their skills by working alongside established pathologists with many years experience in this environment.
