Come and join us at the University of Lleida, Spain for this two-day workshop run by world-class speakers Prof Pesavento (University of California, Davis), Prof Linden Craig (University of Tennessee) and Dr Simon Priestnall (The Royal Veterinary College, London). The course is aimed at clinical veterinarians, pathologists, trainees and students or anyone with an interest in wildlife and exotic animal disease.

Topics will include:

Gross pathology of wildlife and exotics
What’s new in pathogenesis and diagnostics?
Recognising emerging diseases
Viral persistence and oncogenesis – a wildlife perspective
Systemic pathology of exotics species with emphasis on bone and gastrointestinal tract
Group discussion of participant supplied cases

Submission of cases of wildlife or exotic disease for discussion is encouraged and this can be done by submitting a short (no more than one page) history to spriestnall@rvc.ac.uk before the 29th March 2019. The best cases will be selected by the organisers for presentation and discussion (max 15mins per case) during the workshop.

The registration covers the workshop (incl course notes), lunch and coffee breaks on both days. Places are limited so please register early.
