SENIOR TRAINING SCHOLARSHIP IN VETERINARY PATHOLOGY
Combined 3-year Residency and master’s Programme in Veterinary Pathology.
Two positions are available
These training posts provide an exciting opportunity for a veterinarian interested in a career in veterinary pathology.
You will be trained in undertaking diagnostic pathology work on a range of species for the University of Liverpool’s veterinary hospitals and outside clients, contribute to small group veterinary undergraduate teaching and undertake a collaborative research project. The training will prepare you for the ECVP certifying examination and you will complete an MSc in Veterinary Professional Studies.
Applicants must be a Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons or hold a veterinary degree qualifying them for membership.
Applicants must also have at least one year’s experience as a veterinarian either in clinical practice or other field relevant to veterinary pathology.
The initial stipend is £27600 (PAYE exempt) and will be reviewed annually. Examinationfees, MSc fees and a two-week residential pathology summer school in years 2 & 3 will be covered by the department.
Two positions are available from 1st January 2027 and will run for 36 months
