VETERINARY PATHOLOGIST
CytoPath Ltd.
Ledbury
Herefordshire, UK
www.cytopath.co.uk

Remember glass? Remember the buzz of sharing the brilliant and bizarre gathered around the multi-header at regular rounds? Remember the super-power of the hive-mind?
At Cytopath, we are big advocates of all of the above and looking for a like-minded, experienced pathologist in diagnostic companion animal pathology (anatomic and/or clinical) to join us on site in beautiful Ledbury, UK and share our passion for any or all of histopathology, cytology, haematology and ocular pathology.

We are a small, friendly, single site private diagnostic lab, owned and run by pathologists with a fun and diverse caseload and close relationships with the vets we serve.
Our priority is quality and best outcomes for the patient and we’d love to find a board certified team member (DipACVP, DipECVP, RCPath or MMedVet(path)) with the same values, a strong clinical / diagnostic background and excellent English written and verbal communication skills.

Emma Scurrell (owner) has worked hard to develop the ocular pathology caseload and is, so to speak, up to her eyeballs and very keen to share this or alternatively her knowledge with anyone interested to learn more.
Ledbury is a gem of an ancient market town with a thriving high street of independent shops, lovely pubs and eateries. We are surrounded by areas of outstanding natural beauty, namely the Malvern Hills, Cotswolds, Wye Valley and Wales. We are well placed for Bristol and Birmingham International airports and close to the M5 and M50 Motorways.

Pathologists work on site. The job offers a salary commensurate with experience, five weeks holiday plus bank holidays, and funded CPD. Annual MRCVS, RCVS Specialist fees and pathology college subscriptions are also paid for. The applicant must have a veterinary degree registrable with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and be eligible to work in the UK.

We would love to hear from you – please contact Lindy Fouracre or Emma Scurrell for an informal chat on 01531 630063 or e-mail l.fouracre@cytopath.co.uk or e.scurrell@cytopath.co.uk
