The BSVP council and Scientific Organisers have extended the deadline for applications for Trainee Bursaries for the upcoming Autumn meeting.
BSVP Autumn Meeting: From Androgens to Trophoblasts: Current Perspectives on Reproductive & Mammary Gland Pathology

To support trainee professional development, the BSVP is pleased to offer 3 trainees the opportunity to present a review of an interesting case or a summary of their research project at our upcoming Autumn Meeting.
Successful applicants will receive free registration to the meeting, £300 towards travel and
accommodation costs, and free BSVP membership for the 2026 year.

To apply, applicants should submit a written abstract (max 800 words). Research or cases from all species and aetiologies are welcome, but those focused on reproductive and mammary pathology topics are particularly encouraged.
The requirements for the trainee presentations are as follows:
1. The candidates can be of any nationality and work in any country
2. The candidates should be preparing for a pathology board examination (as signed off by their
sponsor)
3. Successful candidates are expected to present their work in person at the meeting in the
format of an oral presentation (10 minutes with 5 minutes for questions)
4. The successful candidates will receive free annual membership for the 2026 year
5. The case presentation must be ethically acceptable
6. Previous BSVP award winners from the last 2 years can apply, however applications from
non-previous winners will take precedence in the judging
7. Candidates do not need to be current BSVP members
8. Successful applicants agree to have their abstract as well as photos (to be taken on the day)
to be published on BSVP website and social media for promotional purposes
