Lecturer in Veterinary Sciences (Veterinary Pathology)

The University of Surrey is an international university with a world-class teaching and research profile and an enterprising spirit. Inventive and forward-thinking, our heritage shows a recurring theme of doing things differently – and achieving notable results.

We are seeking an enthusiastic veterinary anatomic pathologist to join our team of board-certified veterinary pathologists, based in our £11m purpose-built state-of-the-art Veterinary Pathology Centre at the University of Surrey in Guildford, Surrey.

You will be board-certified in veterinary anatomic pathology (RCPath, ECVP, ACVP) and will have excellent communication skills, an appetite for innovation, and ability to work well in a team. An interest in teaching veterinary students, training residents, and contributing to the School’s research portfolio is essential. Although not essential, previous experience in clinical practice will be considered a bonus.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to play a leading role in helping to further advance the scholarly and research activities in our Veterinary Pathology Centre and to shape the University’s research and education programmes in veterinary pathology.

For informal enquiries, please contact Dr Nicola Parry (n.parry@surrey.ac.uk), Head of Pathology.
